Tickle Pandora

May 11, 2009

I recall Miz Sonja Chai talking about Pandora on her blog, so I thought, why not be inspired/copy her and write about my Pandora experience?

Today, while driving in the car, my Dad played his favorite (English) song, “My Way” by Frank Sinatra. When I came home, I could not get it out of my head, so I thought, why not see what “My Way” radio is like? I don’t regret it one bit–I feel like I’m in the 20’s! It’s a lot better in retrospect, because if I actually did live in the 20’s, they wouldn’t serve me at speakeasies and make me drink out of the “colored” water fountain. I don’t even know if there were any Indians from India were here during the 20’s.

Racism aside, this is really awesome. It’s like time travel. I just listened to “Unforgettable” by Johnny Hartman, oh! What do you know! Michael Buble (“Feeling Good”)  just came on. Maybe Pandora radio is time travelling too.

I’m having too much fun. It makes me want to go to the registrar and find a class I can take on the 20’s. It’s disgusting how obsessed I am with that thing.
